HDPE & PU Operator at CPP – Full Time | Tanzania (March 2025)

Job Overview:

Total Exploration and Development Uganda Limited (TEPU), CNOOC Uganda Limited (CUL), and the Government of Uganda have discovered crude oil in the Lake Albert area. This discovery has led to the development of an oil pipeline project, the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), which aims to transport crude oil from Uganda to Tanga Port, Tanzania. The project consists of over 1,400 kilometers of pipeline infrastructure, including six pumping stations, two pressure reducing stations, and related equipment.

Job Description:

The HDPE & PU Operator will be responsible for operating HDPE welding machines and PU foaming machines. Responsibilities include conducting field joint insulation operations, ensuring the blending ratio is maintained, and performing both repair and maintenance of equipment. The operator should uphold high product quality standards through self and mutual inspections.

Job Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical and chemical background
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in English communication
  • Class F and E driving license
  • Experience in petroleum pipeline or construction industries preferred
  • Strong physical condition, free of infectious diseases
