PUBLIC NOTICE ON CAP PRICES FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, 5TH FEBRUARY 2025
Pump prices of petroleum products for various towns, districts, and regions are provided.
The FOB reference prices used are those that prevail in the Arab Gulf market. For February 2025, petroleum products cap prices are based on FOB prices that prevailed in January 2025. Compared to December 2024, the January 2025 FOB prices increased by 3.82% for petrol, 6.77% for diesel, and 5.87% for kerosene.
In February 2025, the premiums decreased by an average of 4.90% for petrol, 14.94% for diesel and 0.81% for Kerosene at Dar es Salaam Port; with no changes at Tanga Port; and decreased by 6.34% for both petrol and diesel at Mtwara Port

The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) hereby publishes Cap Prices for petroleum products, applicable in Tanzania Mainland effective from Wednesday, 5th February 2025 at 12:01 am. In February 2025, retail and wholesale prices of petroleum products in Dar es Salaam, Tanga, and Mtwara are as depicted in Tables 1 and 2, respectively.
