Archbishop Mihayo University College of Tabora (AMUCTA) is seeking dynamic, qualified, and result-oriented individuals for various positions. The following positions are currently open:

1.1 Assistant Lecturers (Multiple Posts)

  1. Assistant Lecturer in Procurement and Supply Chain Management: 1 post
  2. Assistant Lecturer in Kiswahili: 1 post
  3. Assistant Lecturer in Human Resource Management: 1 post
  4. Assistant Lecturer in Literature: 1 post
  5. Assistant Lecturer in Linguistics: 1 post

Organisational Relationship: Report to the Deputy Principal of Academic Affairs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • All applicants must have at least a GPA of 4.0 at Master’s level and 3.5 at Bachelor’s Degree level.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lectures, seminars, tutorials, and evaluations for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as required.
  • Set, moderate, invigilate, and mark examinations.
  • Engage in research, consultancy, outreach, and publication activities.
  • Organize and participate in relevant workshops, conferences, and seminars.
  • Carry out other relevant duties as assigned by the university authorities.
  • Promote AMUCTA’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

1.2 IT Programmer: 1 Post

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

  • A Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.

1.3 Librarian: 1 Post

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

  • A Degree in Library and Information Management.
  • Creative, innovative, and a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Integrity, moral uprightness, and maturity.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent team leadership skills.
  • Flexibility to work in a multicultural environment.
