Job Overview:
The Health Care Front Office Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a healthcare setting. This role involves managing administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive patient experience.


Key Responsibilities:

•    Greeting Patients and Visitors: Welcome patients and visitors warmly, determine the nature of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
•    Managing Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide general information to patients. Handle inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
•    Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, surgeries, and medical consultations. Maintain appointment calendars.
•    Patient Records: Update, organize, and maintain patient records. Ensure the accuracy and availability of patient information.
•    Billing: Process patient admissions, discharges, billing, and insurance claims. Collect patient charges and handle payments.
•    Office Maintenance: Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary materials. Manage office supplies and inventory.
•    Customer Service: Address patient inquiries, resolve simple issues, and escalate complex problems to the relevant departments.
•    Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
•    Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in office management or customer service are a plus.
•    Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
•    Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational abilities. Proficiency in office software and tools.
