POSITION TITLE: Executive Secretary ( 1POST).

Job Description

Provide high-level administrative support for the Office of the Managing Director. In addition, she will serve as the primary point of contact for senior management teams and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the executive office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general office duties such as visitor and diary management for the Office of Managing Director, ordering supplies, maintaining executive and confidential/ sensitive Function files and records.

Prepare and circulate staff communication, team meeting minutes and correspondence letters as assigned and keeping the MD advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.

Coordinate departmental staff initiatives such as Team Building, Strategy/retreat Sessions, as assigned.

Make travel and accommodation arrangements for MD.

Manage the MD meeting room, schedules and any relating administrative costs including processing and track expenses, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.

Read and analyse incoming correspondence such as memos, submissions, reports and packages to determine their significance and plan their distribution.

Maintaining and organizing confidential files, corporate documents, records, and reports.

Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned from time to time, including supporting other Executives.

 

POSITION TITLE: Sales Executives ( 2POST).

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Sales Executive to join our sales team. The Sales Executive’s responsibilities include generating leads, making sales calls, continuously updating our database, and meeting sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

POSITION TITLE: Mechanical Technician ( 1POST).

Job Description

Implement planned Mechanical maintenance and repair activities.

Diagnose faults on equipment

Identify a certain cause of defects, repair methods, and spare part requirements for efficient and permanent repairs.

Identify and select the required spare parts either by visual recognition or from technical equipment manuals thereby constantly monitoring and improving all repair methods.

Carry out maintenance work, fault diagnosis, and repair works

Implement all safety regulations required in all mechanical works as per Tanfreco standards.

Report & respond immediately as appropriate to any hazardous condition/act.

Qualifications Required:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience and Skills Required:

3-5 years of professional experience preferably gained in Heavy Equipment Machinery

Good Knowledge of spare parts, Lubricants& other mechanical system.

Good skills of understanding and reading all Mechanical drawings, Hydraulic circuits etc.

Familiarity to modern maintenance management system is desired.

Basic English language skills

 

POSITION TITLE: Mechanical Engineer ( 1POST).

Job Description

Clarify technical issues relate to mechanical documents.

Fill in and provide relevant technical data, analyze technical problems on the construction site, and provide construction technical services to the unit.

Participate in optimization and design changes in the construction, and be specifically responsible for the preparation, reporting and execution of documents related to optimization or engineering changes. Carry out project technical exchanges and training activities to improve the management level of crew technicians, prepare application of Change Procedure.

Report the situation and problems in the technical management to the Field Engineering Representative.

Interface management.

Participate in construction technology innovation activities, do a good job in the compilation, collection and arrangement of technical innovation, innovation, construction methods and other materials, and write technical work summaries.

Ensure that the delivered materials and equipment are properly erected, preserved, and tested in accordance with the construction documentation approved in AFC and all approved technical field instructions,

Prepare and document repair procedures as deemed necessary to support construction teams.

Review and comment on deliverables such as Method Statements/ Procedures/ Quality Plans, for the engineering part.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirement

Fluent in English.

At least ten (5) years of direct experience in engineering activities.

Proficiency in at least Auto CAD, Microsoft Office operating system(including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoints etc.)

Have experience in engineering, construction management or site coordination.

Proven experience in Heavy Construction Equipments and Mining Equipments.

POSITION TITLE: Company Secretary ( 1POST).

The role holder will be responsible for assisting the Chief Executive Officer in implementing policies and procedures to ensure the business remains fully compliant with all Laws.

Key responsibilities

Legal Responsibilities

Advise division on all matters touching on the law

Review newly instituted matters and advise management

Research and interpret regulatory requirements of new products and/or services

Provide assistance to the operational areas with day-to-day regulatory compliance issues

Keep current on national requirements regarding legal and communicate issues and new statutory developments to executive team.

Provide high quality legal opinions to enable effective management of legal risks

Prepare agreement for appointment of advocates

Receive final ruling and ensures it is captured

Negotiating out of court settlements with a view of saving costs within set targets

Ensure safe custody of the documents such as organization seal, charged documents and suit papers, and ensure confidentiality and privacy of all legal data of the business

Provide legal advice to the division on all legal matters related to its activities and mandate premised on a platform that is well researched, reasoned, and timely

Advising management on the interpretation, impact and effect of the relevant laws and general conditions affecting their various areas of operation;

Providing strategic legal advice, including advice on business and product development

Respond to demand letters and making best efforts to sort out disputes before they are referred to a court of law

Liaise with external lawyers on conduct of court matters;

Preparation of weekly & monthly legal reports/presentation

Liaise with company staff on required documentation, witnesses etc. with respect to matters in court;

Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications required

Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university. A postgraduate qualification in Law.

 

POSITION TITLE: Procurement Officer ( 2POST).

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as supply chain, logistics, or business administration.
Practical experience in procurement is essential and a bonus.
Strong negotiation, communication and strategic thinking skills.
Knowledge of procurement software tools and general computer skills are required.
Should be able to build relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.

Evaluating products for quality and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient.
Execute the purchases of goods or services approved by management.
Track inventory and submit purchase orders as needed.
Recommend new products, services or materials
Negotiating the best prices with suppliers.
Managing risks and reducing costs to maximize profitability.

POSITION TITLE: Operations Manager ( 1POST).

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain constant communication with managers, staff to ensure proper operations of the company.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.

Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity

Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget

Proactively manage daily logistics and clearing activities of the company to include all land, sea, and ICD operations.

Directing activities related to Planning, organizing, dispatching, routing, and tracking, investigate to verify and resolve customer or shipper/consignee complaints.

Ensure operational procedures and practices are well defined, documented and consistently applied

Understand our costs and ensure proper financial controls are in place for all processes.

Monitor processes of invoicing, ensuringthe  invoice and are paid in timely manner. Lead daily staff  meetings to discuss flagged cases, successes, questions and concern.

Develop metrics to measure performance expectations and review with coordinators on a monthly basis along with their caseload review.

Works closely with management team to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance to regulatory-based best practices.

Qualifications

Writing skills, reporting skills, Microsoft office skills, time management, verbal communication  language: Fluent in written and spoken English, Swahili and French.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cross country logistics operations & Clearance.

Education: Bachelor’s (preferably in shipping/logistics/maritime)

 

POSITION TITLE: Chief Finance Officer (CFO) ( 1POST).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and analysis and ensure the financial statements are prepared in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies.
  • Provide advice and counsel to direct reports, senior managers and others relating to broad scope of responsibilities noted above.
  • Provides financial analysis to a  wide range of assignments, often under tight deadlines, to support numerous business processes and initiatives.
  • Ensure the company-wide implementation of superior accounting, financial reporting and financial processes and internal controls. This includes developing appropriate processes, procedures and tools to ensure that deficiencies are identified and corrected in a timely fashion.
  • Evaluate on an ongoing basis the accounting system, so that it reflects an accurate assessment of the operating revenues and expenses of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all Government regulations, including taxation.

  • Manages annual operating and capital budget process, through review with senior management. Assists with the annual business planning process.

Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related subjects.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a MUST. MSc/MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experiences as CFO or relevant role is a MUST.

POSITION TITLE: Quantity Surveyor ( 2POST).

Position Overview

We seek an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor, preferably within remote site high end irrigation or construction projects, to join our team.

The Site Quantity Surveyor’s role is crucial to ensuring the measurement and valuation of construction works is carried out as per standard practice and industry norms and predefined constraints, whilst adopting a pro-active approach to delegated responsibilities. Must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team with the common goal of project financial success at the forefront

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all commercial matters pertaining to the contract and to the works.
  • Take ownership to maximize of margins and benefit to the organization.
  • Monitor and control labor cost and material usage at site.
  • Approve material purchases to be within allowable costs.
  • Provision of weekly forecasts in relation to projected costs and margins vs budgets.
  • Provision of weekly reports encompassing EVM (Earned Value Management)
  • Daily measurement of works executed at site.
  • Conduct monthly valuations for executed works and submit reports
  • Provide monthly reports encompassing EVM (Earned Value Management)

Position Requirements;

Bachelor’s degree in Building Economics, Civil or Irrigation Engineering with focus on a construction environment.
5+ years of experience in construction as a Site Qs, with a focus on cost control and profit maximization.
Proven track record of successfully completing projects within budget and at the highest level of quality.
Strong understanding of Standard Practice for Quantity Surveyors.
Excellent planning, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Will be resilient, self-motivated and energetic toward responsibilities.
Will take ownership of all areas of responsibility and be accountable.
Will have experience with MS Office Suite.
Will be respectful of all team members at all times.

POSITION TITLE: Civil Technician ( 2POST)

Job Function

Implement and plan preventive, corrective maintenance of civil infrastructure within the projects area.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Assist in the design and construction of civil engineering projects.
  • Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project progress and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project specifications are met.

  • Perform materials testing and quality control measures.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of infrastructure.

Qualifications Required:

Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Fully Conversant with Safety Procedures

3-5 years of professional experience preferably gained in construction, engineering projects or irrigation project.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.

POSITION TITLE: Safeguard/Environmental Specialist

The candidate will be expected to carry out associated environmental investigations and reporting, including contributions to design and contract documentation. The role will cover projects from conception through to delivery on site, so there is likely to be a requirement to support/monitor the work and to undertake environmental inspections and audits at construction sites, or to support others undertaking these tasks.

The candidate must:

  • Be able to develop, review, update and implement Environmental procedures and plans as per the requirement of the project.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from conception to completion. The role is crucial in ensuring the successful and efficient execution of construction projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or irrigation engineering or a related field.

Must be a Tanzanian Citizen who is a holder of Bachelor in Land Surveying or equivalent from a recognized Institutions with working experience of at least three (3) years in related field.

  • To assist in preparation and sketches, maps and reports of works performed;
  • To assist in reviewing survey data for accuracy, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites;
  • To record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features;
  • To assist in determining specifications for photographic equipment to be used for aerial photography; and Use of latest surveying equipment

Job description
