PUBLIC NOTICE ON CAP PRICES FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, 4TH DECEMBER 2024
Pump prices of petroleum products for various towns, districts, and regions are provided.
The FOB reference prices used are those that prevail in the Arab Gulf market. In December 2024, petroleum products cap prices are based on FOB prices that prevailed in November 2024. Compared to October 2024, the November FOB prices decreased by 0.29% for petrol, increased by 2.11% for diesel, and 2.28% for kerosene.
In December 2024, the premiums increased by an average of 7.26% for petrol, decreased by an average of 12.80% for diesel and 7.10% for Kerosene at Dar es Salaam Port; there are no changes for petrol and diesel at Tanga Port; and an increase in premiums by 15.67% for petrol and no changes for diesel at Mtwara Port.

The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) hereby publishes Cap Prices for petroleum products, applicable in Tanzania Mainland effective from Wednesday, 4th December 2024 at 12:01 am. In December 2024, retail and wholesale prices of petroleum products in Dar es Salaam, Tanga, and Mtwara are depicted in Tables 1 and 2, respectively.
Pump prices of petroleum products for various towns, districts, and regions are provided in Table 3.
