PUBLIC NOTICE ON CAP PRICES FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, 6TH NOVEMBER 2024
Pump prices of petroleum products for various towns, districts, and regions are provided.
The FOB reference prices used are those that prevail in the Arab Gulf market. In November 2024, petroleum products cap prices are based on FOB prices that prevailed in October 2024. Compared to September 2024, the October FOB prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene increased by 1.56%, 4.99%, and 4.74%, respectively.
In November 2024, the premiums decreased by an average of 3.91% for petrol and increased by an average of 14.48% for diesel and no changes for Kerosene at Dar es Salaam Port; there is no changes for petrol and diesel at Tanga Port; and an increase in premiums by 0.67% for petrol and diesel at Mtwara Port.

The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) hereby publishes Cap Prices for petroleum products, applicable in Tanzania Mainland effective from Wednesday, 6th November 2024 at 12:01 am. In November 2024, retail and wholesale prices of petroleum products in Dar es Salaam, Tanga, and Mtwara are depicted in Tables 1 and 2, respectively.
Pump prices of petroleum products for various towns, districts, and regions are provided in Table 3.
