Job Title: Accommodation Manager (Preferably Female)
Location: Burka, Arusha
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic female Accommodation Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of guest accommodations, ensuring exceptional service and comfort. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily operations of the accommodation, maintaining high standards for our facilities and providing strategic direction. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, implement marketing strategies, handle customer interactions, and maintain compliance with laws and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Managing Staff: Recruiting, training, and supervising all accommodation staff.
· Customer Service: Ensuring guest satisfaction by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and providing a high standard of customer service.
· Budgeting and Financial Management: Monitoring expenditures, managing budgets, and ensuring cost-effective operations, including controlling payroll and supply costs.
· Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring that the accommodation complies with health, safety, and security regulations. This may include fire safety, food hygiene, and overall cleanliness.
· Inventory and Supply Management: Overseeing the procurement and maintenance of supplies, equipment, and furnishings needed for the accommodation's operations.
· Marketing and Sales: Assisting with marketing efforts to attract guests, including managing online platforms, special promotions, and sales strategies to increase occupancy.
· Facility Management: Ensuring that the building and its amenities are well-maintained, including overseeing repairs, renovations, and general upkeep of the premises.
· Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of occupancy, revenues, guest feedback, and operational performance, often reporting to higher management or owners.
· Compliance with Industry Standards: Ensuring that the accommodation aligns with industry benchmarks, including star ratings, customer reviews, and quality certifications.
· Sustainability and Efficiency: Implementing environmentally friendly practices and improving the operational efficiency of the accommodation.
Qualifications:
. Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
· Experience in inventory management
· Proficiency in software operations (eg; Quickbooks, or any PMS)
· Experience in management or any relevant field
· A commitment to delivering high-quality guest experiences
· A team player and highly proactive
· An eye for detail
