Reservationist / Sales Consultant
We
are looking for experienced Sales/ Reservationist qualified and
energetic candidates to join our Reservation team as Res Request
Reservations Consultant with broad knowledge of Tanzania
Reporting to General Manager
Location: Arusha town
Duties & Responsibility
- Receive bookings from Agent/ Tour Operators and book into Res requests
- Receiving calls from Agent/ Tour Operator
- To ensure all bookings are made correctly and payment are made
- Process and issue detailed booking documentation to agent as required
- Ensure that records are properly kept and archived per company policy
- Make follow ups of provisional bookings and outstanding payments
- Promptly confirm the bookings subject to available rooms and within defined booking policies
- Collect, update ad communicate all necessary details concerning quests arrival to the lodge
- Prepare reports as may be required from time to time
- Issuing proper invoices and reservation summary
- Process all necessary vouchers
Qualification
3 years of experience in similar position
Excellent up to date computer skills (Excel, word, power point,)
Must have good experience of using Res Request
Ability to handle multiple task smoothly and with calm manner
Able to work under pressure
Goof customer care
Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork, assisting Sales Manager and Accountants
Barman
Reporting to Lodge Manager
Station: Serengeti Ark Safari Lodge in Serengeti

Position Summary
-
The Barman oversees the outlets' of bar operations and other bartender
work to ensure that they provide a positive guest experience
- He / she ensures the smooth running of the bar.
- He / she ensures the smooth running of the bar
- He / she should also be be skilled in serving alcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar patrons
- He / she serve beer and wine make classic drinks or create new recipes for cocktail
Requirements and Qualification
3 years experience in a similar role with 5 star lodge / camps
Excellent oral communication skills
Good customer care
Positive interpersonal skills and and good listeners
Ability to multitask and work well in high volume work environment
Fluent in English
Greet guests and who them where to sit
Handle and assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
Pool Attendant
The
pool attendant will help the manager with daily duties of pool
maintenance and upkeep. As a pool attendant you responsibilities
includes cleaning the pool and surrounding areas such as locker rooms,
bathroom and checking that equipment is available and in working order
Duties and Responsibility
- Sept up pool and seating and umbrellas
- Remove used towels and trash from the pool areas
- Fold and stock fresh towels and hand out fresh towels to guests
- Take food and beverage orders
- Ensure guests follows the rules and safety guidelines
Requirements and Qualification
- Secondary school or high school certificate or diploma
- Customer service skills
- Hospitality experience (preferred)
- Comfortable working outside in high heat or humidity
- Ability to stand throughout shift
Housekeepers
We
are seeking a highly professional Housekeeper to deliver exceptional
personalized service to our guests. This role need person with
hospitality background who is adept at enhancing guest experiences
through meticulous attention to details
Duties and responsibility
- Provide high quality housekeeping service
- Knowledge of cleaning materials / equipment
- Cleanliness and attention to detail and how to prepare a guests room to the highest of standards
- Create memorable experiences for guests going to above beyond to meet need and preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all guests - facing and work area
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork, assisting other areas of lodge operations and required
- Ensure laundry is operating at high standard and knowledge of procedure for guest laundry
Qualification and Requirements
Proven experience as a Housekeep preferable with luxury setting

Waiter / Waitress
We are looking for experienced waiter & waitress to work in our luxury lodge in Serengeti
Duties and Responsibility
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- Greet guests with smile and show their tables
- Ensure you are neatly dressed and wearing a badge / name tag
- Present menu and provide details information when asked (eg. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Inform guests about the days specials
- Up sell additional products when appropriate
- offer menu recommendations upon request
- Take accurate food and drinks orders using a notepad and pen
- Ensure guests meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcohol beverage
- Effectively communicate with kitchen staff to make sure orders are accurate and delivered promptly
- Serve food and drink orders
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Follow all relevant health department regulation
- Provide best customer service to guests
Qualification
At least 3 years of experience working in similar position in well established restaurant or hotel
Excellent customer service and an ability to build strong relationship
Excellent communication skills required
Computer knowledge required, word, excel
HOnest, patient, flexible, creative, fast thinking and decision making
Ability to work independently and report on time and correctly
Chefs/ Cook
We are looking for chefs in our luxury lodge located in Northern Serengeti
Duties and Responsibility
- Prepare, cook abs present high quality dishes
- Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products
- Opening , closing procedure of kitchen & operate kitchen equipment
- Follow recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
- Set up workstations with required ingredients
- Maintain a clean and safe working area and able to maintain personal Hygiene
Qualification
At least 3 years of experience in similar position cooking in well established restaurant or hotel
You should ideally have at least diploma or certificate in Food and Beverage from recognized college
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Be able to work in a standing position and handle extreme heat
Knowledge of Standard procedures and policies pertaining to food and preparation, storage and sanitation
Awareness of menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
Ability to work under pressure
Driver Guide
We are looking for qualified Safari Driver Guide with fluent communication in English
Location: at Lodge in Serengeti National Park
Reporting to Lodge Manager
Duties and Responsibility
- Safely drive and guide the guests on game drives through National sharing knowledge of animals, vegetation and areas
- Contributing and provide best services to clients that ensure unforgettable safari in Tanzania.

Taking full responsibilities in game drive where possible, to host bush
breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as discussing day success and plan
for next day activities
- Provide best knowledge of on wildlife,
history, culture, geology, birds, trees and plants. to be able to share
the knowledge to clients
- Must have knowledge of parks road and
alternative roads network and time it take to cover the distance between
certain destination
- Be clear and consistent in providing information to clients in a charming manner
- Regular vehicle check, make sure the vehicle is in excellent condition before starting safari
- Be able to host clients in all situation and properly as their guides during game drive
- Warm communication and be able to and promote company and Tanzania wildlife
- Navigating through National Park ensure safety and comfort of clients
- Execute other responsibilities related to guiding.
Qualifications
Should have at least 3 years of experience in similar job.
Should have a valid Tanzania driving license
Driver guide must have knowledge of areas in National park or game reserve, location of camps / lodge
Good customer care
Skills and knowledge of driving 4x4 Land Cruiser
Health and safety of clients as well as client's well being
Must be fluent in English and Kiswahili, any other language like French, German, Italian will be an added advantage
