Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Hotel and Tourism Sales and Marketing Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive sales revenue, promote our brand, and enhance our online presence. He/She will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to attract guests, increase bookings, and strengthen relationships with clients and partners.

1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
● Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy rates.
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and event partnerships.
● Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to ensure profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
● Record and track data regularly and monitor sales performance and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
● Coordinate and manage appointments, meetings, and follow-up communications with clients and partners.
● Conduct in-depth market research and share knowledge with team members, enhancing collective expertise.
2. Marketing and Brand Promotion:
● Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote The Greenside brand and offerings.
● Manage the hotel’s website and online presence, including content creation, SEO optimization, and social media marketing.
● Coordinate advertising efforts across various channels, including print, digital, and social media platforms.
● Monitor and respond to guest reviews and feedback on review sites and social media platforms.
3. Relationship Building:
● Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other industry partners.
● Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and establish connections.
● Collaborate with other departments, including operations, event planning, and guest services, to ensure seamless guest experiences and client satisfaction.
4. Team Collaboration:
● Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align strategies and achieve common goals.
● Support and guidance to junior team members, including training and mentoring as needed.
● Collaborate with other departments to coordinate promotional activities, special events, and marketing initiatives.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications:
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Proficiency in mathematics and understanding of basic financial principles.
● Deep product knowledge and creative approach to sales and marketing.
● Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
● Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
● Ability to analyze target markets and conduct competitive research.
● Persistent and flexible approach to challenges.
● Preferred: familiarity with accounting
● A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
● Experience in hotel sales and marketing, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
● Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including website management, social media marketing, and email campaigns.
● Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the hotel's value proposition to prospective clients.
● Detail-oriented and organized, able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
