Background on NECTA Matokeo Ya Kidato Cha Sita 2024 | FORM Six Results 2024
All
exams were administered by the Curriculum and Examinations Section of
the Ministry of Education following Tanzania Mainland's withdrawal from
the East African Examinations Council in 1971 and before to the legal
establishment of NECTA in 1973. The legal duty for the Examinations was
transferred to NECTA with its founding.
The initial employees of NECTA were hired between 1972 and 1976. Among them was Mr. P. P. Gandye, who was hired in 1972 and made Executive Secretary in 1994. The other employees kept getting hired, particularly after NECTA's headquarters moved from the Ministry of Education to its current location in Kijitonyama, close to Mwenge. At the moment, NECTA employs more than 250 people.
The Advanced Certificate of Secondary
Education Examination (ACSEE) 2024, is an achievement test that was
available to students who had completed two years of Advanced secondary
education in Tanzania. The purpose of the test is to identify students
who will be selected to attend various technical colleges in Tanzania,
as well as to identify those who will pass their exams and join Degree or Diploma studies at University level which is the highest education level in the country.
