TRANSFER VACANCIES
The Universal Communications Service Access Fund (UCSAF) was established under the Universal Communications Service Access Act; Cap 422 which was assented to by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania in January 2007. Under the Act, the Minister responsible for communications published Regulations that govern the operations of the Fund which came into force in April 2009.
The Government of Tanzania has taken the initiative to ensure that communication as a universal right is accessible to its entire population; UCSAF was established to facilitate access to communication services. While it is the responsibility of private entities to provide communication services, the Government came to realize that not all areas in the country could be economically viable for the provision of communication services, UCSAF came into existence to ensure that even those areas that are economically unviable have access to communication services(Telecommunication, ICT, Postal, and Broadcasting).
UCSAF hereby invites applications from competent and suitably qualified Public Servants who wish to be transferred to the following positions:

Engineer II
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, and Network Engineering or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions. The Candidate must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board(ERB)as a Graduate Engineer.
Planning Officer II
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Statistics, Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, Project Planning and Management, Development Economics, Development Finance, Investment Planning, Planning and Community Development, Population and Development Planning, Participatory Project and Management or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.
Statistician II
Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Statistics, Biostatics, Biometry, Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions.
Personal Secretary II
Holder of Form IV or Form VI Certificate with passes in English and Kiswahili plus Diploma in Secretarial Studies who have passed Shorthand (English) and Hati Mkato(Kiswahili) at a speed of 80 words per minute with computer knowledge in MS Word, MS-Excel, Internet, Email, MS-Publisherfrom a recognized institution.

- Applicants must be Public Servants;
- Applicants must channel their application letters through their respective employers;
- Applications should be accompanied by detailed curriculum vitae, certified copies of relevant certificates;
- Applicants should indicate their willingness to cover transfer costs, and
- Only successful Candidates will be contacted to proceed with the transfer permit
