Safari & Tour Consultant Vacancy/Freelancer
We are looking for a Safari and Tour Consultant who is passionate about creating memorable Tanzania Experiences for our Clients with a strong combination of guidance, great customer service skills, a taste for detail, and extensive knowledge about the Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar Destinations.
Job Location: Freelance
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Preparing safari bookings, and quotes for clients.
· Deal with inquiries from the beginning until confirmation of the booking.
· Building and maintaining good relationships with Safari Agents.
· Communicate with clients via email and phone in a friendly and polite manner and give accurate and consistent information.
· Responding and handling safari agent inquiries by e-mail and phone, converting inquiries from clients on the phone and by e-mail into actual sales estimations.
· Ensuring daily updating of all the relevant information i.e., client's safari package, allergies, picking time, and landing off to the airport also dealing with last minute changes.
· Taking care of booking reservations/cancellations/
Experience:
· Minimum of three years’ experience in designing and selling tours.
· Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
· Great Customer Experience with Tanzanian Wildlife, and its national parks.
· Good knowledge of accommodation found in and outside the parks and their specifications.
