HSEQ Officer Job Vacancy at a Reputable Company in Dar es Salaam

HSEQ OFFICER – 1 POSITION

Workstation – Dar es Salaam

A reputable company is urgently looking for a responsible HSE Officer whose primary role will be to check the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System and the implementation of HSEQ policies and procedures to attain company objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the company for IMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) Certification.
2. Coordinate with the various departments of the company in regards to IMS certification.
3. Maintain and control records and documents of the HSEQ Department
4. Support the development of HSEQ policies and programs.
5. Ensure statutory compliance for the company.
6. Conduct risk assessment and enforce mitigation measures.
7. Any other HSE-related task assigned by the their line manager.

Job Requirements and Skills

1. Must have a bachelor's degree
2. Proven experience as a Safety Officer, minimum 1-2 years.
3. Must be familiar with the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
4. Certificate(s) in IMS (Awareness, Implementation & Internal Audit).
5. Certificate in NOSCH I or NOSCH II.
6. Proficient with MS Word.
7. Strong communication skills.
