Tindwa medical and health service is local registered company dealing with providing Emergency Medical Services, Medical Services, Waste and Environmental Management, Occupation Health and safety both local and international and Medical Supplies Services.

Job Title                     : Vehicle & Machinery Officer

Department               : HR & Administration Department

Reports To                 : HR & Administration Manager

Deadline                    : 25th March 2024                              

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
  • Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
  • Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary
  • Test s vehicles and ensures/ verifies the road worthiness of vehicles upon receiving vehicles from the garage/completes vehicles maintenance confirmation form
  • Ensure that all vehicles have the appropriate and repair tools and equipment on board to enable users to perform miner maintenance and repairs in the field.
  • Prepare and submit monthly fuel consumption, maintenance and repair reports.
  • Manage all vehicles conversion and branding and make sure they meet TMHS standards,
  • Provide technical advice to procurement during sourcing process of vehicles
  • He will be in-charge of all Company vehicles and machinery
  • He will be responsible to inspect all new purchased vehicles to make sure they meet requirements
  • He shall plan and manage all vehicles and machinery acquisition, maintenance and disposal process

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as auto mechanic
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS and Excel Office
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related field.
