On the first Quarterfinal Nigeria edged out Angola 1 - 0 following an Ademola Lookman Sole Goal to advance to the Semifinals. On the second Quarterfinal Democratic Republic of Congo thumped Guinea 3 - 1 to seal their place in the AFCON 2023 Semifinals.
Saturday Saw 10 men Ivory Coast launch a fighting staunch comeback to eliminate Mali by final score of 2 -1 , after extra time to advance to the Semifinals while the last Quarterfinal Fixture Saw Cape Verde and South Africa fighting tooth and nail all the way to the penalties after ending 120 minutes at 0 - 0, with Bafana Bafana coming up tops 2 - 1 on the penalties shootout following a world class starring performance by their Goal Keeper Ronwen Williams.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, known in short as the 2023 AFCON or CAN 2023 and for sponsorship purposes as the TotalEnergies 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will hold its Final & have its champion crowned on Sunday February 11, 2024 at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan with the winner of Semifinal 1 facing the winner of Semifinal 2. Before that on Saturday February 10, 2024 the AFCON 2023 Third place playoff will take place at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan pitting the losers of Semifinal 1 against the losers of Semifinal 2.
