Lets go through Matokeo ya kidato cha nne 2023 - GPA Top Performing Schools & Stats. This after The National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) on Thursday January 25, 2024, officially announced the results of the Form Four Examination held in November 2023 also know as Matokeo ya Kidato Cha Nne 2023, whereby a total of 484,823 Candidates equal to 87.65% of the Candidates who took the test have passed.

Announcing the Form Four 2023 results in the City Dar es Salaam, The Executive Secretary of NECTA, Dr. Said Ally Mohamed said "Girls who passed are 257,892 equal to 86.17% while Boys who passed are 226,931 equal to 89.40%, in 2022 Candidates who passed were 476,450 equal to 86.78%, so the success of Candidates has increased by 0.87% compared to the year 2022"

Among those successful students there are School Candidates and Independent Candidates where a total of 471,427 out of 527,576 School Candidates with results which is equal to 89.36% have passed where they have obtained Divisions I, II, III and IV, in 2022 the successful candidates were 456,975 equal to 87.79% so the form four pass rate has increased by 1.57%.

Independent candidates who passed the Form Four Exams are 13,396 equal to 52.44%, in 2022 19,475 independent candidates equal to 68.34% passed the exam, so the performance of those independent candidates has dropped by 15.90% compared to the year 2022.
