The Group Stage of this Season's Mapinduzi Cup Commenced on December 28 , 2023 and reached its conclusion on Friday January 5 , 2024 with 8 teams qualifying for the Quarterfinals of the Tournament , advancing out from the 3 Groups of this Cup Competition, namely Group A , Group B and Group C. This saw two automatic qualifiers from each Group and an additional two third placed finishers / best losers from each Group progress to complete the quarterfinals 8 teams . Therefore now the Mapinduzi Cup 2024 - Quarterfinals Fixtures has been released.

Mapinduzi Cup 2024 Timu Zilizofuzu / Qualified Teams  from the Group Stage 

From Group A , Azam FC came through as the Group Leaders with 7 points while defending Champions Mlandege FC squeezed through to the Quarterfinals as the second placed team with 3 points from 3 draws.

Group B Saw Simba SC come up tops with 7 points, followed by Singida Fountain Gate  with  6 points and Rwandan Army Side APR SC made it through as one of the two best placed 3rd place finishers with 4 points in the Bag.

From Group C Yanga SC smoothly sailed through as the Group winners with 7 points,  KVZ FC followed with 5 points, while Pemba based side Jamhuri  SC final day heroics against Jamus FC saw them earn 3 points to move on unexpectedly to the Quarterinals as the second best losers with a 3rd place finish in the Group.

Now that the Group Stage of Mapinduzi Cup 2024 is over , the teams will have a one day of rest & preparations on Saturday, 6 January and then on Sunday,  7 January 2024 the Knockout Phase of the Competition kicks off with first 2 Quarterfinals Ties.
