Mechi zilizoahirishwa NBC Ligi Kuu Bara - Postponed. The Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) has postponed seven (7) games of the NBC Premier League in order to allow the game between the Zanzibar national team (Zanzibar Heroes) and the Tanzania Mainland national team (Kilimanjaro Stars) to be held on December 27, 2023 with the preparation of the Tanzania National Team (Taifa Stars) towards the finals of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023) in Ivory Coast starting January 13, 2024.
The special game that will be held at the Amaan Stadium, Zanzibar will be used to officially re-open the stadium after the major upgrades made by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar under its President Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi.

The postponed games are;
MN. 77 - Tabora United vs Simba SC (December 29, 2023)
MN. 79 - Young Africans vs Mashujaa FC (December 29, 2023)
MN. 48 - Mashujaa FC vs Simba SC (December 26, 2023)
MN. 86 - Kagera Sugar vs Young Africans (December 26, 2023)
MN. 83- Simba SC vs Azam FC (January 1, 2024)
MN. 101 - Geita Gold vs Simba SC (January 4, 2024)
MN. 103 - Young Africans vs Dodoma City (January 2, 2024)
The aforementioned games have been postponed in accordance with Rule 34:1(1.1 & 1.5) of the Premier League regarding Postponing matches, they will be scheduled for another date later , after Taifa Stars complete their participation in the AFCON 2023 championship.
