You may be looking for Matokeo Zanzibar Heroes Vs Kilimanjaro Stars; Zanzibar Heroes face Kilimanjaro Stars of Mainland Tanzania in a special re-opening match at the renovated Amaan Stadium , now renamed to the New Amaan Complex on December 27, 2023.
After renovations & upgrade , Amaan Stadium now has international status, almost all sections of the stadium have been improved greatly, including the installation of a roof and modern artificial turf and the increase in the number of fan seats in the modern facilities from 12,000 to 16,200.
The friendly match is being played on Wednesday, December 27 at 8:15 PM (Acutal Kick Off was Delayed to 8:55 PM) local time, as a preparation for the new season of the 2024 Mapinduzi Cup, which will be played the next day at the stadium that was undergoing renovations that changed its appearance to a more modern one.

The entire squad of Zanzibar Heroes is as follows; Goalkeepers are Ahmed Ali (Uhamiaji), Ibrahim Abdalla (Singida FG), Yakoub Suleiman (JKU), while defenders are Adeyum Saleh (Dodoma Jiji), Ibrahim Hamad (Yanga) and Suwedi Juma of JKU, Abdalla Said (Mlandege), Abdul- Malik Adam (Namungo) and Mukrim Issa (Singida FG) and Baraka Mtui wa Mashujaa.
Midfielders are Suleiman Ame (Zimamoto), Is-Haka Said, Nassir Sheha (KMKM), Hassan Nassor 'Machezo' of JKT Tanzania, Mudathir Yahya, Sheikhan Ibrahim (Yanga), Feisal Salum (Azam FC), Suleiman Saleh ( Chikupizi), Abdul Aziz Makame (currently without a team), Muhammed Yahya (KVZ), Khalid Habibu (Singida FG), Hassan Cheda (Mashujaa) and Khelfin Hamdon playing in Muscat, Oman.
The Forwards Selected are Matteo Anthony, Seif Karihe who play for Mtibwa Sugar, Maabad Maulid (Coastal Union), Abdulnassir Assa (Mashujaa), Mohammed Mussa (Simba) and Ibrahim Hamad 'Hilika of Zimamoto.
The head coach of Zanzibar Heroes is Hemed Suleiman 'Morocco'.
