Mapinduzi Cup 2024 : Bandari na URA Zajitoa. The Committee of the Mapinduzi Cup 2024, has made changes to two teams scheduled to participate in the competition for this season due to the withdrawal of Bandari FC and URA FC teams.
According to the update provided by the Chairman of the Mapinduzi Cup Committee Mbarouk Othman, he has said that due to various reasons, the Bandari team from Kenya and URA of Uganda have withdrawn from the competition and their places will be taken by JKU of Unguja and Jamus of South Sudan.
Through the information, the Committee has had to make changes to the groups as well as the schedule in general and currently the groups are organized as follows:-
Mapinduzi Cup 2024 Updated Groups : Bandari na URA Zajitoa
Group 'A'
Azam FC, Vitalo'o, Chipukizi and Mlandege
Group 'B'
Simba SC, APR, Singida FG and JKU
Group 'C'
Yanga SC, Jamhuri, KVZ and Jamus.

The chairman has said that for this year, the Champion of the championship will be awarded One Hundred Million Shillings (100 Million) and the second winner will be awarded Eighty Million Shillings (80 Million).
Mapinduzi Cup 2024 will start on December 28, 2023 at Amaan Stadium for Unguja and Gombani for Pemba.
