The Institute for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption (TAKUKURU) is a public institution established under the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Law No. 11 of 2007. This law was enacted after the repeal of the Law for the Prevention of Corruption (PCCB) Chapter 329 which was revised in 2002. The establishment of this body came after the Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania passed the 2007 Prevention and Combating Corruption Bill on April 16, 2007. This bill was signed by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Mr. Jakaya Kikwete became the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Act on June 11, 2007 and came into force on July 1, 2007.

The Institute for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption (TAKUKURU), among other things, has the responsibility of preventing corruption through strengthening systems. In order to achieve this goal, the PCC conducts research, systems analysis, monitoring of the use of public resources (PETS), bringing together stakeholders to set strategies to implement the recommendations of the PCC to control corruption and monitor the implementation of those strategies.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT BEING CALLED TO THE INTERVIEW (ORAL INTERVIEW)
The Director General of the Institute for the Prevention and Combating of Corruption (PCCB / TAKUKURU) wishes to announce to the public that the Oral Interview for those who applied for jobs at PCCBwill be held in Dodoma from 27 March, 2023.
Important Points to Consider
1. The interview date is from March 27, 2023;
2. The interview will be starting at 2:00 am every day;
3. Every person called to the interview must arrive at the interview on the day and time he was assigned with the following documents:-
3.1 Original copies of academic certificates (Various professions and courses)
3.2 Three “Passport Size” photos
3.3 Original copy of birth certificate
3.4 National ID number (NIDA) or card
3.5 Address, phone number and photos of two guarantors;
4. Submitting forged documents is a criminal offense;
5. Everyone who comes to this interview should pay for themselves;
6. The names of all the people called to the interview along with the location of the interview are available on the PCC website www.pccb.go.tz
7. Those who pass the face-to-face interview will be notified.
