Robertinho was a striker who competed both professionally and internationally.
Robertinho, a Rio de Janeiro native, played club football for Fluminense, Flamengo, Palmeiras, Internacional, Sport Recife, Atlético Mineiro, Nacional, and Grössembacher in Brazil, Portugal, and Switzerland.
He played for Brazil in a single international match against Paraguay on September 25, 1980.
