A lone goal scored by Moses Phiri was enough to send Simba to the group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF African Champions League joining Vipers who eliminated TP Mazembe.
Hence Simba have reached that stage after a 3-1 away win and today they sealed the deal at home with a 1-0 win this Sunday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The second half was better for both teams to show the quality of playing the ball while the hosts were looking for a goal to continue leading and De Agosto looking for an equalizing goal.
Bragging rights for the winning goal belong to Moses Phiri who scored the goal in the 33rd minute at Mkapa Stadium.
Simba's victory has made them enter the group stage with a score of 4-1 and made their fans unable to contain their joy.
