Simba's dominance in the African Champions League has been proven yet again with a convincing 3-1 away victory over Primiero de Agosto today in the second preliminary round first leg match at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda, Angola.
Clatous Chama, Israel Mwenda, and Moses Phiri each scored a goal to give Simba a resounding victory over Agosto, who scored the lone consolation goal through Dago Samu.
Due to the sides attacking each other alternately after the game's start, the opening half of the match between Primero de Agosto and Simba was very entertaining.
The early goal for Simba was scored by Clatous Chama in the 8th minute using Agustin Okra's pass.
The second goal was bagged by Israel Mwenda, who is a defender, scored the goal in the 62nd minute of the second half with a pass from Sadio Kanoute.
It was Moses Phiri who scored the third goal in the 75th minute through a well delivered pass from Clatous Chama.
In the second half, de Agosto scored a goal through Dago Samue with a penalty kick in the 78th minute which Goalkeeeper Aishi Manula was unable to save.
