RE-ADVERTISEMENT FOR A TENDER OF PURCHASING EQUIPMENT AND RAW MATERIALS FOR RE USABLE SANITARY PADS PRODUCTION UNIT.

INTRODUCTION

HUMULIZA Organization is a registered Non-governmental Organization (NGO) established in 1997 to provide psychosocial support (PSS) to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). The word “HUMULIZA” is Kihaya and means “Console”. It is located in Nshamba ward, Muleba district, Kagera region of Tanzania in East Africa. The organization was created in response to a household survey conducted in 1996, which discovered that HIV/AIDS was responsible for a growing number of child-headed households (CHH) and orphans. HUMULIZA Organization was officially registered on 21 December 2005 under the Non-Governmental Organization Act No. 24 of 2002 with Registration No. 0586 and on 28th February 2022 was issued with new registration under NGO Act No. 00NGO/R1/00461.

HUMULIZA is implementing ACHIEVE Project in seven Districts of Kagera Region i.e Muleba, Bukoba DC, Bukoba MC, Missenyi DC, Karagwe DC, Kyerwa DC and Biharamulo DC.

HUMULIZA Organization with the support from Pact Tanzania is announcing tenders from individuals, entrepreneurs with credentials, indigenous companies to send tender applications for the acquisition of equipment and raw materials for reusable sanitary pads production.

APPLICANTS QUALIFICATION

• Have EFD machine with QR Code
• The ability to purchase all raw materials and equipment as mentioned below without being given advance payment.
• Able to deliver all items raw materials and equipment within two weeks after being selected as the vendor.
• Have TIN number, Pro forma Invoice, Delivery Note and Invoice.
• Have a bank account with company / individual name (names within the bank number must align within the invoice, delivery note, pro forma and EFD receipt).
• The tender application form must be stamped/thumb stamped.
• Be a resident of the Districts/Region/county where the beneficiaries of the project come from.
• Be able to attach photos with product sample and specifications with his/her bid request.
