Juma Mgunda Confident ahead of Simba SC' vs Nyasa Big Bullets Second Leg Clash , Juma Mgunda, the head coach of Simba has said that his boys are ready for their TotalEnergies CAF Champions League game against Malawi's Nyasa Big Bullets.
Mgunda has noted that the history of suffering defeat at home in the last season (2021/22) and being knocked out in the early stages even the players know about it & have learned from it.
Sunday's Match at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium is a rematch of the TotalEnergies CAF African Champions League Preliminary stage, the 2nd leg after the first one was played in Malawi, whereby Simba emerged with a handy 2-0 away victory.
Mgunda has made it clear that he was told the story of Simba losing an international game at home against Jwaneng Galaxy after winning the first leg away.
"The preparations have been completed, may God grant our Squad to wake up safely so that they can win our game which is important."
"I am away of the history, there were mistakes made in the past, now we have worked on them so they don't happen again."
"We are ready for the game in every department, we have worked on our mistakes including the side of strength in free kicks as well as defense, the fans should show up in large numbers," he said.
Nyassa Big Bullets face an uphill task as they need a clear win in today's game at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
