How to Pay your AUWSA water and sewerage bills by Mobile phone. A mobile phone service for paying monthly water supply and sewerage bills has been established by the Arusha Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (AUWSA).
The Authority put its strategy into action to transform payment services delivered via all forms of electronic media, but especially mobile phone services.
To begin with, the Authority launched the ability for customers to pay their bills through their mobile phones , which has already drawn a sizable number of users.
The service allows AUWSA customers to pay their bills from any location, saving them the time and expenses associated with standing in line at an AUWSA pay point.
The service can be used by following the instructions in the Mobile Money MENU that is available on the customer's mobile device.
Customers can opt to receive their Authority's monthly bills through SMS on their mobile phones, which will warn them of any unpaid balances and serve as a gentle reminder to make a fast payment to prevent service interruption, to register for this service for the first time visit the AUWSA offices.
Once you register for the service of receiving the Authority's monthly bills through SMS on your mobile phone number. This is How to Pay your AUWSA water and sewerage bills by Mobile phone , follow the following Procedure : -
1) On your Phone Dial the USSD code *152*00#
2) Select Option 1 - Malipo
3) On the following screen select option 4 Bili ya Maji
4) Select the Option 1 ( a - k )
5) Select Option 1 - AUWSA
6) Enter your previously received Reference Number
7) Proceed to pay your Bill accordingly.
